Fabulous location with plenty of walks and friendly pubs nearby. the cottage was warm and cosy, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. the bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the free WiFi had a strong signal, allowing for easy internet access.

The lack of private enclosed space in the garden area. This made it difficult to let dogs out safely or with privacy, which may not be ideal for those looking for dog-friendly accommodation.

The Old Forge Cottage had everything we needed for our relaxing break. The location was perfect, with easy access to the open cliff top area and Sewerby Hall and gardens. We enjoyed a delicious meal at The Old Forge restaurant and bar, which welcomed our little dog. The cottage itself was excellent, with a comfortable bed and a breathtaking view from the window. We loved the contemporary style and the convenience of having everything we needed for a self-catering stay.

I was devastated that there was no option to collect keys from Antarctica, it's my favorite holiday spot.

I had a fantastic stay at The Old Forge Cottage. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the open cliff top area and Sewerby Hall and gardens. The cottage itself was warm and cosy, with a great bed that ensured a good night's sleep. The Old Forge restaurant and bar just behind the cottage was a wonderful bonus, offering delicious food so we didn't have to cook. The free wifi with a strong signal was also a great plus. I highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing and enjoyable break.

Although the settee wasn't the most comfortable for watching TV, it was still alright for a short break. Additionally, it would have been nice to have a private enclosed garden area for the dog.
